(I heard somewhere that some mods inside the CORE file are disabled because they request the game to be registered (don't recall where I read the article, but it wasn't too detailed on that part). I hate to ask someone who posted 2 years ago, but I already wasted a lot of time trying to figure this out and this is kind of my last hope lol. ![]() So, am I doing something wrong or is the GOG version the issue? (I heard somewhere that some mods inside the CORE file are disabled because they request the game to be registered (don't recall where I read the article, but it wasn't too detailed on that part).Īny help would be appreciated. And Marvin the crystal NPC also seems to work fine. The non-CORE wd files in the "mods" folder seem to work fine. Respawns aren't working either as far as I can tell. ![]() The 2 perma potions in the tutorial are missing, the UNUS (I think I spelled it right) book by the Orc quest mage in the Prologue is missing that the worldmerge 1.4a guide mentions. Now the problem appears to be that some of the integrated mods in the CORE file do not appear to work. Everything installed fine per the instructions and I was able to play w/o any technical issues. I recently installed the worldmerge 1.4a mod with the TW2 VE 2.06 GOG version. It may be a long shot, but I guess I had to try. I was hoping to get some answers since you mentioned the latest GOG version worked. To be clear I've never connected it online, and have no interest in doing so, and as far as I'm aware, mods don't even work in multi-player. Setup_two_worlds2_velvet_edition_2.1.0.24.exeįinally tried with the latest GOG release as of February 2019, TW2 Velvet v2.0 Two Worlds II - Velvet Edition - Game Installer (GOG) The same pre-microtransacton unbundled release, TW2 Velvet v1.3.7 Two Worlds II - Epic Edition - Game Installer (GOG) I have several old installers, this one with Castle Defense + TW2 Velvet v1.3.7 in one package. Note most if not all these mods, are part of WorldMerge anyway. Only first mod, 1# Play as Female is an InfoTools link, and play as female is built into Worldmerge anyway.Īlways better to use paste and copy to check links first.Īlso ModDB only has 2 "Mods" under mods, but weirdly more exist on the addons tab, Warning the InfoTools Domain, has been taken over by a malicious extension installer, do not accept that extension. Found several MediaFire links here for mods Here's a Wayback Link, and you may find a mod or two buried in a web page folder, which is how I've recovered dead mods for other old games, but not with this one, as the site had a mod manager, using the attached mods. Worldmerge is one of the few that was hosted off the site. Sadly, the goto site for most mods, is defunct, so unless another source exists (Someones downloads), most mods are lost, though Wayback Machine has the info, it never saved the attached mods, FYI Wolmerge Mod is on ModDB (Link at end of post)
